I hate having my picture taken. There, I said it. I tense up, I worry about how I look, and there's nothing natural about looking at a hunk of glass and metal and smiling at it, you know?
I like to photograph life happening. I want to take pictures of people, not poses you've seen on Pinterest a million times. I want to create something that is artful and uniquely meaningful to you.
Photographing your love story is one of the most creatively and emotionally fulfilling things I can do, and I'm so lucky I get to do it for a living. When you work with me, you’re my muse. I’m inspired by what makes you truly unique. By creating a space for you to let loose, laugh, and truly be yourselves, I can capture you at your most authentic. You don't have to pretend to be someone or something you're not!
Being a wedding photographer isn't a responsibility I take lightly. Spoiler alert: your moments matter. A lot. While I take pride in creating incredible imagery, your photos should only be one part of your wedding photography experience. Joking around with, entertaining, and getting to know you is a big part of my job! Being comfortable with me will have an impact on your photos. As an artist and friend, I want to create striking images showcasing your love the only way I know how.
In your photos, you’ll see:
-grandiose, magazine-worthy imagery
-in-between candid moments
-you having the time of your lives!
The engagement session is key in my process. It's how we get to know each other, it's when I'll tell most of my jokes, and it's when we'll spend the most time together with just the three of us.
During your wedding, I will be a bit quieter. The most beautiful moments happen organically. With the exception of posing group shots and formal portraits, I prefer to keep a distance and actually let you enjoy your wedding. I'll still be there for you, helping pin boutonnieres, giving you gentle reminders, and bustling your dress. I'll be your personal paparazzi for the day, running around doing my thing capturing as much of your wedding as possible.
